Van is old enough to know better
Finn Wolfhard and his nine-person band did not disappoint DAR was full of fans, like myself, prepared for an evening of entertainment. The audience sensed not all was well on stage right from the start, even though the music was great. At one point, Finn muttered into the mic, "Wrong notes!" He pointed at band members to play when they were not expecting to do so. It seemed as if no one on stage knew when Finn would call on them to take over or be publicly scolded.
90 minutes into the show, Finn left. Walked off stage. The band played on until someone from the house told them to stop. The crowd cheered for an encore. More confusion on stage; then a manager called up the crew and gestured for the house music and lights to be brought up. The show was over?! Confusion and disappointment swept over the audience. A large number began to boo.
We were easy to please. One or two more songs, introducing the band, and thanking his fans for coming would have left me and most others satisfied and full, ready to buy another Finn Wolfhard CD. Finn turned his back on us and walked off without a word. I 'm ready to do the same.
